Position Overview

This pivotal role is centred on formulating and executing a robust strategy, cultivating key account relationships, and propelling long-term revenue growth. The Head of Pharmaceutical Accounts will join our client’s elite leadership team, contributing directly to the strategic direction and expansion of the company’s footprint in the healthcare sector.


  • Shape and implement strategic plans for pharmaceutical and med tech client engagement
  • Nurture key stakeholder relationships and manage sales inquiries and activities
  • Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring they align with organisational objectives
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver top-notch client service
  • Keep a pulse on market trends, spotting growth and innovation opportunities
  • Analyse sales data, tracking performance and identifying improvement areas
  • Report on sales, account activities, and market insights to senior management
  • Remain vigilant of industry regulations, ensuring full compliance in all dealings


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred
  • At least five years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales leadership
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market and regulatory landscape
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Proficiency in contract negotiations and management
  • Line management experience with strong leadership capabilities
  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools
