Position Overview

As an Event Director, you would be steering the team to achieve exceptional performance in all areas of event sales leadership and planning: strategic development and marketing, financial accountability and fostering professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for sustainable event success.
  • Oversee the financial, operational, marketing, relationship and sales aspects of the events.
  • Ensure collaboration with vital suppliers, associations, and commercial partners.
  • Maintain brand relevance and align marketing strategies with commercial objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to meet and surpass event targets and budgets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Event Director or a similar role with a sales pathway to achieving this.
  • Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Solid financial management and budgeting expertise.
  • Proficiency in operating marketing strategies and CRM applications.
  • An adaptable approach to carrying out other duties as reasonably requested.
